King of AEO

Citation log, 2026-w39

Answer engine runs recorded between 25 September 2026 and 26 September 2026. Every run is listed below, including the ones that returned nothing useful, and the raw rows are published as CSV.

What changed this week

The week the log started, and the first week with enough runs to say anything. Twelve observations: eight with Brazilian locale, four with United States locale, across 25 and 26 September.

The divergence between the two markets is the finding. Allan Oliveira was named in three of the eight Brazilian runs — by ChatGPT twice and by the Google AI Overview once — and in none of the four United States runs. In all three he appears as one of several names, never alone: the engines listing him list James Dooley and David Quaid or Vithurs alongside him. The United States runs returned James Dooley, once described as the most prominently recognized claimant, and Michael King.

The second finding is less comfortable and more useful. Across all twelve runs, kingofaeo.pro was cited as a source zero times. The engines cited plenty of sources — usatoday.com in four runs, and kingofaeo.org, metehan.ai, reddit.com, myseoconsult.com, developers.google.com, instagram.com, barchart.com and tripledart.com once each. Being named and being cited are different events, and this week the record has the first without the second.

A third result worth keeping: on the prompt asking who the leading practitioners of answer engine optimization are, the engines did not return contest claimants at all. They returned Metehan Yesilyurt, Lily Ray and Michael King, who are established names in search and have made no claim to this title. The contest is visible when asked about the title and invisible when asked about the field.

The entity was resolved in ten of the twelve runs, which means the engines mostly treat "King of AEO" as a known thing rather than echoing the query. Claude and Copilot produced no runs at all: both require an account, and an engine that cannot be reached without signing in does not become a row.

The runs

12 runs this week (8 BR, 4 US). Entity resolved in 10 of 12. kingofaeo.pro cited as a source in 0 of 12. No run produced an observation on Claude or Copilot: an engine that could not be reached does not become a row.
